Changing a setting starts a new match.
How to play
Choose two-player mode or play against the AI. In single-player mode, you play circles. Player 1 starts the first round; starting players alternate each round. Easy makes random legal moves, Medium looks for wins and blocks, and Hard plans eight turns ahead. Changing mode, difficulty, or match format starts a new match. Players take turns. Player 1 uses circles; Player 2 uses diamonds. First, place one token on an empty position each turn until both players have three tokens.
Then select one of your tokens and move it to an empty position connected by a single line segment. Highlighted positions show legal moves. The center connects to all eight outer positions; outer positions also connect to their two perimeter neighbors.
Your first token is special, marked ★. During movement, select it and choose Use special jump to move to any empty position once per round. Normal adjacent moves do not spend the jump. Both players get their jump back each round, including the AI.
Best of 3 is first to 2 round wins; best of 5 is first to 3. Use Next round after a round ends. New match clears the score.
Make three in a straight row, column, or diagonal to win at any time. Players may repeat moves; there is no automatic draw rule.
